Stafford Campus Freshers Fair and Housemates

Ended up blowing Hayley off for lunch. Sarah asked me to go to Stafford campus with her to sign people up for GK at their Freshers Fair. It was kinda cool. They have a fantasy role playing club run by four really cool guys, I am so jealous!

Anyway we got something like 14 people to sign up. It was a...different way to spend the day ^ - ^

Doing it again Friday for this campus too.

Our display, however, sucked! We had some sign-up sheets and a couple of back issues of GK and that was it! So I ended up going to their student shop and buying up their entire supply of Chubba Chub lollies! We used them to bribe people into signing up ^ - ^

The Union there was gauging interest in an Anime club too. I think I shall *have* to be a bit more active in getting one started on this campus this year.

I also signed up to the WorkBank here at Uni to try an get some work. Every little bit helps, ne? I've signed up to say I have friday's free. I have to go in every week to do so, apparently. Bah. But still, money money money as the Abba song goes!

At least I think it was Abba...meh.

I've met the rest of my housemates. There's a girl named Tia (I only remember her name because se had to spell it for the Warden!) a girl from Shrilanka and two guys downstairs who have been bonding via some PS2 footie game!

However, to be honest I'm feeling the need to become the house hold recluse. You lot know me, I've never been a big socialite!

Besides, no one here seems all that interested in socialising very much with one another except for the two guys. I think it's because we all have friends here and there's no real pressing *need* to bond.

Oh yes, and if this entry didn't give it away, I have RESNET again ^ - ^

I have to take them �60 on Monday but I still have a week left on my contract for last year so it's on! Woo!

I'm bored. I want to go for a walk but I have no idea where. Maybe to the shop for...something.

Bah, I'll just stick a DVD on. It's too dark to go out alone really.

Gotta register tomorrow at 9:30. Hayley and I are going to have breakfast at 8:45 because we didn't have lunch. So that should be nice. I also have to pick up my new NUS card and my loan cheque at some point. If I do get it tomorrow I'll see if the girls want to go into town together. We have to put them in the banks, after all.

If not, I shall go in Thursday on the bus.

Am feeling quite tempted to stick a Buffy episode on... Good grief that's sad, ne? But then again I've been watching Family Guy all day so it's almost a step up!

Oh! And I've finally managed to get the shower to work! I finally had a decent shower! The one I had last night was *ice cold*! I swear! I wouldn't have had one at all if it wasn't for going to Stafford today. But I've figured out that I have to turn on the hot water for half an hour then turn on the showers heater then I can shower half an hour later ^ - ^

What a hassle. Thank goodness I have a hat.

Heh, the fire alarm just went off. It's not that loud, irritating drone that I had in Halls. HURRAH!

Got some new scans. Got some new Yami, and some new ones; Great Sword Wah, Kiddy Grade Reverse and Blue Seed. They are all very good...The parts of them that I have read at least ^ - ^

Mmmm my hair smells like orange!

Yep. It's a bad sign when I start to smell my hair. It's an even worse sign when I start to *write* about smelling it!
