Dream with me

Winter Olympics and Music. WOO!

3:36 PM - February 03, 2006

Well check me out! I'm all productive and stuff!

I finished my column early yesterday and handed it in to Mick for photocopying and so on. I saw Sarah too who's very pleased because she got a 13 in Specialist! She's so good!

I myself am muchly relieved because I got a 9. Given that I was expecting a 7 or 8 I'm quite pleased!

It's still a 2:1 so it's all good!

Had dinner with Dan and Nadine on Wednesday. It was very nice! The ultimate compliment: it was better than my mothers!

So I had a good night. *I* did at least. Nadine and Dan, not so much. Inevitably those two ended up getting drunk all night and then getting a little *too* intimate and Dan freaked out. Now he's avoiding Nadine and I'm fielding the usual "Have you seen Dan today" and "I'm worried about him" tirades. Joy.

Currently though I am avoiding these by downloading MP3's. Most of the better sites have updated their revolutions for the weekend so...YAY!

I'm falling in love with Glay, W-ind and Exile. Hide is just gorgeous and High and Mighty Color kick butt!

Yay! I know names! Even some faces! WOO!

HA!

Anyway, it's Friday night with means Liz is due to come over. I'm thinking of cancelling and asking her to come on Sunday instead because I'm not really in the mood for company.

Having said that though it's easier to tolerate company for the night then hide for the weekend.

Yep, that works much better.

Oh yes. For those of you who know me well enough you all knew it was coming. Prepare yourselves for;

The Olympics!

HA! You all thought I'd forgotten, didn't you? Yes, the Winter Olympics starts on Friday. It's 112 different forms of sliding! YAY!

Lets see how much Great Britain sucks at *this*!

I'm looking forward to it! Only downside is that because of the time difference, most of the coverage is on from late evening on. Aww well!

If anything, my Olympic fever has been heightened by the prospect of 2012. Not least because they've started sending me emails now about my volunteering ^-^

I'm not looking forward to Beijing as much, again, because of the time difference. I'm not going to be able to watch all day like I did for Athens. Plus, I'll most likely be employed by then so that makes it doubly hard.

Heh, maybe I should save up holiday and sick leave for it? Heh.

Yes, I am planning this far in advance. Yay for sports! WOO!

I got excited by the Winter Olympics when I watched some world cup slalom skiing on the BBC. I'm looking forward to the Snow Boarding and the ski jump. The girl in me is looking forward to figure skating too ^-^

Right, well the library closes in an hour so I'm going to finish puttering around then I have to head home. I've got to clean up before Liz comes over tonight.

Ja Ne loves!
